My wife and I traveled to Santorini in May 2022 to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. During our stay at the island we initially met Tasos at the airport where... read more he picked us up and took us on an excellent 4 hour history tour of the island. We visited several historic sites on the island and had a wonderful time.
Tasos speaks excellent English and this made the conversation very easy as I asked him numerous questions about the Greek culture and the island. We had such a great time with Santos that we booked him for the 5 hr highlights tour.
Tasos took us to several great locations on the island during the tour and each one made my jaw drop. What was also really nice is Tasos is he is always superb attentive to our needs and provided drinks and drove very safe allowing us to enjoy our travels. We also went at an excellent pace and took a few breaks along the way from the walking.
After visiting several sites we finished the evening with dinner and had the best Greek food we have eaten so far. It was all the better because Tasos ate with us and was able to give us the history of several dishes we ate. Nothing is quite like enjoying the local food with someone who knows what dishes to choose.
Sorry for the long review. But we spent 9 hours with Tasos and got to know him really well. I wish we could take him to Athens with us. He really made our visit to Santorini the best it could be and we will miss the island and our new friend Tasos.

Tasos’ tour of Santorini was even better than we could have hoped. Because we were the only ones on the tour, he was able to modify the tour a little... read more bit (we had already seen Oia, but wanted to add Akrotiri).
Tasos picked us up at our Airbnb, and for five hours he drove us allll over the island, telling us stories about the history, the geology and the culture of Santorini. He answered all of our questions, took pictures of us at every site, and even dropped us off at the port for our ferry at the end. Because it was the slow season and traffic wasn’t bad, we had a little extra time and he took us to see some of the historic windmills, which was a highlight.
Tasos is personable, laid back, and easygoing, but don’t let that fool you - he knows what he’s doing. He was an excellent driver on the windy little roads, had a cooler full of cold drinks for us, and got us to the port on time. His communication was always super fast - both when I reached out weeks ahead to see if he could drop us at the port and also the day before when we asked about tour modifications.
Booking this tour was one of the best things we did in Greece, and I would highly recommend it!

Tasos was quite literally the best part of our time to Santorini. To be frank we didn't particularly love Santorini at the time of year we went (late October early... read more November).. while it was less touristy it was just not what we were expecting. So much so we left Santorini 3 days early... it would have been 4 days but we had booked this experience with Tasos and my are we glad we did!
He was a FANTASTIC tour guide. Chatty, prepared, knowledgeable of the local area and just overall a great guide. My fiancé and I were impressed with how well he took care of us despite the season being basically over. (I am pretty confident we were his last tour of the year. before his winter break)
If we were to go back to Santorini we will definitely look him up for another experience and have recommended him to multiple family and friends.
